Friday - Finish installing new D.I.D 520ERV3 chain and Vortex sprockets. Unfortunately, the vendor sent me a chrome counter shaft sprocket. It looks pretty silly but now I have "bling". I'll swap that out later with a Renthal because its almost half the weight of the Vortex.
I gather my gear and inventory everything including my tools. I don't think I got any sleep on Friday night. Just anxious to get out to the track and do my licensing evaluation I guess.
Saturday - I wake up, make my coffee and hit the road. I get to the track around 0645 and as usual, first at the gate. I'm never late for anything. I pay my gate fee of 10 big dollars and proceed on to finding my "reserved" spot in the Pits. My friend Mike saved me a spot next to the Bridgestone vendor which works out quite well.
I take my bike to Tech with a rain tire on the rear as I had concerns about the new Bridgestone BT003 that was installed the previous day.
Troy, (Bridgestone) declares the tire as safe so I swap out the rear wheel. Slap on the warmers.
At this point I'm starting to feel pretty ill, like I'm going to blow chunks or something. Just really crappy.
0830 - Riders Meeting. New nominations for club positions, flags, etc.

0900 - Practice 1
I make one lap and return to the pits. I forgot to attach my AMB lap timer. Out I go again. Tires don't seem to feel right but I put my 8 laps in and pit.
Soon after, my mother and her friend Sandra from the Netherlands, Pops and his wife Barbara show up. This is awesome! A little while later, Heidi and her family from Utah, her mother Kris, sisters Mandy and her two kids Asher & Cedar, Lisa and her husband Pedro from Brazil, brother Matt & his wife Rachel + their four kids Asia,Eden,India and Samara from Idaho, Heidi's aunt Suzie and her husband Richard Keihl and my daughter Savannah and her friend Gabri showed up! Very cool. No pressure..

1015 - Practice 2
I make my way out and do two medium paced laps and then W.O.T. Tires are starting to feel better, nothing to speak of until the 7th lap. First, going into turn 1, about 160 mph I had to pass traffic so I took it slightly wider and (Team Kaka UK would appreciate this) I swear I got airborne after hitting a bump I never even knew was there. Yikes. It didn't scare me but I didn't expect it either. make it past turns 1 thru 4 and was heading up the back straight where there is a little hump. The bike always get "really light" going over it, especially since it turns out to be a shift point for me. I must have done something different because I got a high speed death wobble. Never experienced that here before. Last time I had a high speed death wobble was when I was running Dunlop's in which I ditched those after 10 laps. Anyways, I tip it into 5,6 and 7 and head up the hill and pass traffic going into 8. I know there is a bump there but I never feel it. This time I did. felt like the bike was going to buck me off. I should of had Bill's hillbilly hat on. I finish the practice. All is good.

1130 - Race 1
We do the recon lap and grid. I'm gridded in row 5-4 (17th position)
Light out and off we go. I blast up the middle to gain a few spots but pretty much lose them going down the hill into T3. I don't remember a whole lot except that I see the bike that was in grid 1-1 ahead. I'm unable to to pass the built Kwak 636 so I'm on his tail most of the way. Finally on lap 5 I pass him going up the hill out of T7 and into T8. He is unable to overtake me from that point on. All in all, I gained only 3 positions, had a blast, did my best lap times of the season. I finished 13th. Best of all, the Race Referee granted me my expert racing license. Finally, after all these years I have achieved one of my dreams. One step closer to Real Roads.
Thanks to Team Kaka Racing
Heidi- for unconditional support
Savannah-I know it freaks you out
My parents for being there :)
The whole Whoolery Clan and the extended family
Mike MClane (Mic)- Always great input
Anyone else that has supported me whether it was via message or verbal. yes, it helps!
Phil Cook - WMRRA Race Referee for review of my racing skills and granting me my Expert License.
